John Kelley - Co-owner, Trainer

For John, exercise has been the foundation for nearly every positive change in his life. What began as a consistent college gym routine soon inspired better sleep, nutrition, and overall well-being. Realizing how transformative fitness could be, John felt driven to help others experience the same.

He earned a degree in Kinesiology from UMass Amherst, completing internships at Velocity and Northeastern Sports Performance. After college, he trained clients in a commercial gym for several years, sharpening his skills and expanding his knowledge. When COVID hit, he transitioned to independent training and discovered the freedom and fulfillment of doing things his own way.

Now, as co-founder of Studio 617, John is committed to creating the best training experience possible for his clients.

Chris Paduano - Co-owner, Trainer

Chris’ love for food began at a young age, often found in the kitchen as the family’s eager taste tester. This passion led him to earn a Bachelor’s in Nutrition and an Associate’s in Culinary Arts, where he discovered a sense of both community and challenge through cooking.

After college, his interest in movement grew into a new passion—fitness. He began personal training at Boston Sports Club, where strong mentorship helped shape his approach to helping others. When the pandemic shifted things online, Chris embraced the challenge with creativity and resilience, staying connected with clients and honing his skills remotely.

With continued client support and a drive to build something meaningful, Chris co-founded Studio 617, where he brings energy, knowledge, and a love of community to every session.

Grace Krumpack - Independent Trainer

Hi there! I am Grace Krumpack, an enthusiastic and curious coach with an eye for details that loves all things that movement, competing, laughing and coffee! I have been personal training in Boston for the last 4 years and I consider myself to be a movement specialist with extensive knowledge of biomechanics and athletic development. Basically, I love helping people recapture a range of motion to get and stay out of pain, and I geek out over teaching mindful movement done with intention so that we reach our goals with a high level of execution and become aware of our bodies in the process! I love forming meaningful relationships with people and coming up with creative solutions to solve problems and see goals achieved, which is what I love about coaching and why I delight in this career. I’ve loved to call Studio 617 a training home for my independent clients, and I’m excited to spend more and more time there coaching and working with like-minded, wonderful people!

Schuyler Archambault - Physical Therapist

My name is Schuyler. I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) working with clients in Boston. Over the past 6 years, I have worked as a Physical Therapist in Boston with patients experiencing orthopedic conditions. In addition, I have spent 11 years as a strength coach in Boston. In that time, I have greatly enjoyed progressing patients through physical therapy and furthering their progress and achievements post-physical therapy through strength training.

Being hypermobile myself, I work with clients who are hypermobile to manage pain and get them back to the activities they love. I also work with older adults who are looking to manage chronic diagnoses and exercise for longevity.

Katie Dickinson - Independent Trainer

Katie's approach with the individuals that she works with is to not only teach new techniques, but also assist in building an instinct for how the exercises should feel in the body as they're executed so you can confidently take those learned skills out into the gym (and real world). She tries to bring not only knowledge and experience into her sessions, but also humor when appropriate - a previous client dubbed her sessions "Katie's exercise, science, and comedy hour." Above all, she wants to make sure that her clients feel safe, supported, challenged, and like they're learning something new in each session.

Jimmy Le - Independent Trainer

Jimmy first started his journey into the world of nutrition and exercise when he realized that his own health needed improvement. As he began to improve his own health, he wanted to share with others that they too can change.

Jimmy dedicated himself to acquiring a degree in food & nutrition. This academic pursuit allowed him to gain a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of diet and its impact on overall health. Jimmy then decided to acquire a personal training and then his massage therapy license. Over the past nine years, he has combined his academic knowledge with practical experience to support his clients in achieving their fitness and health goals.

As a personal trainer, Jimmy understands that each client is unique, with their own set of goals, limitations, and motivations. Therefore, he takes the time to listen and understand their individual needs, tailoring his approach to ensure optimal results

Morgan Powers - Independent Trainer

Hi, I’m Morgan!

I’ve been a personal trainer for over 5 years, working with athletes ages 17 to 80 to move better, get stronger, and prevent injuries.

I specialize in working with runners who are returning after physical therapy—whether you’re dealing with lingering knee or back pain, or want to stop old injuries from coming back.

My approach? Assess, don't guess. In your first sessions, I’ll look at your mobility, flexibility, strength balance, and recovery habits. That way, we know exactly what to focus on—and I can build a strength plan that’s tailored to you.

Whether you struggle with recurring injuries or just want to be stronger, I’ll help you build the foundation you need to keep doing what you love.

Brian Cammarata - Independent Trainer

"Hello, I’m Brian! My goal is to not only help my clients lose fat, build muscle, and move better but to make training a part of their lives forever.  Fitness is a lifelong pursuit and I'm here to be your guide.

As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Level 1 Titleist Performance Institute Golf Fitness Coach, I've worked with a wide range of clients in both Boston and Los Angeles, from weekend golfers to average desk jockeys to young athletes.  We focus on getting stronger, moving better, and building good habits in and out of the gym.  As the saying goes, "we are what we repeatedly do".

We will repeatedly challenge the body, assess the results, and take time to enjoy the ride.  We won't do fad diets, mindlessly run on the hamster wheel, or take ourselves too seriously.

Playing sports led me to fitness, and fitness has given me a true desire to learn about the human body and share that knowledge with others.
